Established in 1980, Ray McDonald and Sons, Inc. is family owned and operated landscaping business located in Surry, Maine. After 8 years of teaching school, Ray cashed in his teaching retirement and bought his first tractor and the rest is history. A lot has changed in those 37 years, but we still continue to provide quality field and lawn mowing services, as well as general landscaping, small excavator work, caretaking and snowplowing. We have continued to grow each year, now employing between seven and ten people each season. We moved into our new state of the art facility in 2008 providing us the floor space to maintain our fleet of seven trucks, 3 tractors, an excavator, 6 zero turn lawn mowers, and all of our snow plow equipment. Office space was also added to the new facility to help provide our clients with the best possible service.
